University Master's Degrees

We believe in training young talent, the professionals of tomorrow, who will become the strength of our Group. Therefore, in collaboration with prestigious universities, we promote training projects linked to our key business activities.

Training young talents to develop the new generation of Tomorrow's Builders, the professionals of tomorrow who will become the driving force our Group, are the foundations of the activities staged by Salini Impregilo in collaboration with Universities of excellence on the national and international scene.

In 2015, we began working with Milan’s Polytechnic University, an outstanding partner for specialist training and for helping young new graduates enter the world of work. The specialist first and second level Master’s Degree in “International Construction Management”, was the result of a consolidated partnership between the Group and the Polytechnic University. In 2018, we concluded the third edition.

The Master’s Degree, held in English for new graduates, including those coming from abroad, foresees 15 students attending per edition.

Classroom lessons are mainly taught by Webuild experts, and the course ends with a 6-month period of on-the-job training within the Group, both in Italy and abroad, under the guidance of a company tutor.

The programme is a unique, post-graduate training opportunity, as it combines academic methodology and knowledge with company technical-specialist expertise: the knowledge-based training is integrated with training on soft skills and continuous mentoring and tutoring activities.

The last 3 editions of the Master’s Degree consisted of 90,000 hours of classroom and on-the-job training and each year, over 50 senior management, professionals and experts in the Group contribute to the training activities.

33% of the participants in the 2018-2019 edition of the Master’s were international students and 40% were women, with a 20% increase compared to the first edition confirming the Company's constant commitment to promoting training and professional development of newly graduated women engineers.
