Abu Dhabi Great Mosque - United Arab Emirates

It is a monument to Islam but it took people of all creeds to build it, with materials came from all over the world. Built by a consortium led by Webuild, the Great Mosque covers 84,000 m2.

The mosque’s space for worship stretches over an area twice as large as that of St. Peter’s in Rome (over 50,000 m2).
