15/02/2024 - The hydro-milling machine has now reached Venezia Station, in downtown Rome. This video tells the story of the journey of the four exceptional means of transport that brought the innovative hydro-milling machine from Cesena to downtown Rome. An almost 25-metre-tall giant built for Line C, painted with the Italian national flag colours, this great innovative and sustainable machine is the tangible example of where engineering and science can arrive in the construction sector. 

The ambitious machine has an ambitious task to carry out: excavating up to a record depth of 85 metres to build the perimeter walls and pillars that will become the underground structure of the to-be Venezia Station of the Metro C.
