Premio Alberto Giovannini, 8 novembre 2021: L'evento di lancio - Webuild
Webuild believes in newly formed young talents, planning the future by investing in their present, and their ideas. This is why the Group launched the "Alberto Giovannini Award": a programme dedicated to young graduates and recent graduates, and to Italian universities, to promote innovation and research in infrastructure.
The Award launched during an event organized by Webuild in partnership with Corriere della Sera, which was attended by - among others - the CEO of the Group, Pietro Salini, and the economic adviser of the Italian Prime Minister, Francesco Giavazzi (a friend and longtime colleague of Giovannini). The event aimed at drawing a thread between Giovannini's experience and the future prospects of young Italians.
The Award has been created in memory of our former President Alberto Giovannini - an Italian economist who passed away in 2019. He chaired Webuild's Board since 2015 - to encourage the training of young talents, knowledge transfer processes, and process innovation. The Award celebrates a life story and the ethical values and professionalism represented by Alberto Giovannini, during his career, in companies and institutions. Values that can guide young people entering the work arena and businesses, to create training paths for young people.
