Line 10, Naples’ first driverless metro line
The new infrastructure will connect the city centre with the Naples–Afragola HSR Station in approximately 20 minutes.

Milan, 30 March 2026 – Naples looks to the future as the contract for the launch of construction works on the city’s new Metro Line 10 has been officially signed.
A strategic project—and the city’s first fully driverless metro line—Line 10 will link central Naples to the Afragola High-Speed station. A major engineering achievement that will contribute to the sustainable modernization of Naples, while also acting as a driver of urban regeneration, architectural quality, and employment.
Webuild will lead the consortium responsible for delivering the infrastructure, together with Eteria Consorzio Stabile, Costruire, ICM, and M.N. Metropolitana di Napoli.
