Transparency towards the market and the institutions

Webuild commits to adopting behaviours aimed at a loyal competition with other market actors. Group results are connected to a transparent and constructive competition with the category associations, universities, the institutions, competitors and all subjects with which the Company can dialogue, aimed at the sustainable growth of the infrastructure sector. In managing these relations, Webuild commits to respecting clear principles and the lawfulness of objectives, transparency and correctness.

Webuild does not finance political associations, trade unions or political parties or does it sponsor or participates in initiatives that could bring a disadvantage to its competitors. 

Webuild believes in free competition and in the benefits produces by it: the confrontation with various stakeholders takes on its value when it is free from dominant influence; the Company therefore has adopted a Compliance Antitrust System that ensures promoting the Company, without ever being of impediment to free competition or damage the market position of its competitors. 

The Compliance Antitrust System is founded on the dispositions of the Italian Guarantor Authority of Competitors and the Market (Autorità Italiana Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato). It wishes to clarify principles and rules set by the legislation of the sector, making corporate culture grow in this direction and preventing risks from possible behaviours that do not align with the antitrust discipline. To this end, the Compliance Antitrust System is a tool that helps Webuild employees and third parties working on behalf of the Company and in its name, to understand which behaviours to adopt to safeguard the free market.

The use and update in time of the Compliance Antitrust System are to be done by the Board of Directors of Webuild, which has identifies the Compliance Department as the subject responsible to implement and monitor said System within the corporate organization.
