Milan, November 27, 2019 - Salini Impregilo endorsed the new vocational guidance programme for young men and women called #Progettiamocilfuturo, promoted by the Italian region of Liguria, placing its focus on the territory, once again, which takes off by focusing on young people. The Company has already committed to promoting educational initiatives in Genoa. Salini Impregilo, with other signatories of the Registro dei Testimonial (Endorsers Register), which Councillor Cavo defined " a quality mark for all companies demonstrating their great responsibility towards the young”, will collaborate in vocational guidance projects for students of schools of the Liguria Region, to help them choose their educational path, more mindfully, taking them closer to the occupational scenario.

These young men and women, from Liguria's schools, will be met by managers of Salini Impregilo and other companies, who will offer a brief scenario of their personal and professional experiences. This first encounter with the occupational arena, will also become more tangible when these youngsters visit the headquarters of the endorsing companies. The aim, as always, is to help them mindfully choose their professional future.

The initiative is part of the talent attraction programmes for young people endorsed by the Salini Impregilo Group, which offer training and promotes technical culture. These activities aim at selecting the most talented young people, offering vocational guidance and tutoring of the various career paths of the construction sector. They are carried out through strategic partnerships with the most prestigious Italian and international universities: Just like the Master’s in International Construction Management, organized with Milan's Polytechnic University. Or through initiatives engaging students and new graduates, like our career days, or our themed workshops in universities, our presentations and our worksite visits.

Salini Impregilo's adherence to the initiative promoted by the Italian Region of Liguria demonstrates, once again, how greatly committed the Group is towards this territory, where it is already building, in fact, the new Bridge on the Polcevera River, with Finacantieri, in the purposely established joint-venture, PerGenova. But also, the railway line of the Terzo Valico dei Giovi, as the leading company of the general contractor Cociv. Workshops and training meetings are also organized at the Spazio Ponte permanent exhibition. Here, families and youngsters can virtually participate in the new bridge's construction. It is a place capable of also letting the smaller visitors know all about the world of large infrastructure. Its labs and immersive multi-sensorial formats also made it the protagonist of the Science Festival that took place in Genova, at the beginning of November.
