Webuild and Confartigianato: a new partnership to promote Supply Chain and Italian SMEs in infrastructure
Webuild and Confartigianato join forces to facilitate Italian SMEs’ access to the supply chain of major infrastructure projects and contribute to a more competitive national system
ROME, November 24, 2025 – A bridge between large infrastructure projects and small Italian businesses: this is the essence of the agreement signed today by Webuild, a global leader in the construction of large, complex infrastructure, and Confartigianato Imprese, the largest organisation representing trades and small and micro-enterprises (SMEs). The strategic agreement aims to foster the inclusion of SMEs in the Group’s supply chain, which in Italy counts for more than 14,200 businesses, helping to promote economic and social development.
The agreement was created with the goal of building a shared, more competitive ecosystem based on quality, innovation, and sustainability in the maintenance and management of infrastructure assets.

In this context, Confartigianato will provide its network of 4CNetwork consortia, while Webuild will offer companies training and qualification opportunities on legality, transparency, and workplace safety through its dedicated systems and programs.
