Webuild: proud of gold medal won by Alice Bellandi, protagonist of the "Webuild for Sport" campaign

Milan, June 19, 2025 – Alice Bellandi keeps on writing new pages of international judo history. Following her victory during the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Italian judo athlete has now won a gold medal at the 2025 Budapest World Championships (-78kg category), therefore confirming herself among the great international world sports protagonists. Bellandi is one of the 5 Italian athletes chosen for the "Webuild for sport campaign". The initiative, which merges sport and engineering under the banner "We dream, we build, we win” aims at promoting universal sport values through premium stories of women.

The Budapest final showed Bellandi resisting tenaciously for over 6 minutes of golden score before winning the gold medal. This feat reflects the spirit with which Webuild faces engineering challenges in its 150 ongoing projects in nearly 50 different nations: vision, courage and the will to leave a mark.

Besides Bellandi, the campaign engages other 4 Italian athletes: Zaynab Dosso (athletics), Caterina Banti (sailing), Angela Carini (boxing) and Antonella Palmisano (athletics). Together, they embody values like tenacity, resilience, passion, audacity and perseverance. The very same values guiding Webuild's women and men every day.

The Group's support towards sport as a personal and collective growth tool that has universal value was actually recently acknowledged with the "Premio Speciale Unindustria", which was assigned by this campaign to Webuild CEO Pietro Salini during the 2025 "Premio Film Impresa"
