MILAN, March 27, 2020 - Salini Impregilo (Webuild) expresses its solidarity with Italy's regions with a donation of 70,000 FFP2 masks for the most vulnerable in the fight against the COVID-19 virus in Lombardy, Liguria, Piedmont, Lazio, Campania and Sicily. The donation was welcomed by Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala, who announced the arrival of 20,000 masks from the Group for RSA senior citizen homes across the region.

Salini Impregilo, which is present in more than 50 countries, is looking at continuing its activities on those construction sites that have the necessary health and safety measures for workers and serve as strategic infrastructure for clients and communities. It is applying the most rigorous norms possible to protect the health of its direct and indirect employees.

In order to protect everyone at the Group wherever they are in the world, it has activated a structured process with a task force of more than 120 people who every day define and adjust procedures as the situation changes, monitoring the application of prevention and containment measures for possible critical situations at more than 100 construction sites across five continents.
