April 8, 2015 - "I gladly accepted the invitation to deliver a Lectio on Salini-Impregilo's growth and internationalisation strategies in the Faculty of Economics where I graduated”. On Wednesday the 8th of April Pietro Salini, CEO of Salini Impregilo, delivered a lecture entitled "Courage to share” at the University La Sapienza of Roma – Faculty of Economics.

"La Facoltà di Economia Incontra: I Protagonisti dell'Economia in aula", literally "The Faculty of Economics meets the Protagonists" enables the students of Europe's largest Faculty of Economics to meet eye to eye with leaders from the business, institutional or financial world. The event has been introduced by the Dean Giuseppe Ciccarone and the Deputy Dean Marina Brogi.

“I believe in investing in the young and for this reason, to support its strategic plan, Salini Impregilo has launched a very ambitious hiring and career guidance programme in collaboration with leading universities. As Roosevelt said 'we need the courage of the young', and this has become one of the pillars of Salini Impregilo's strategies", Pietro Salini said. The Group has already kept its promise to hire 100 new engineers in 3 months, greeted with the “Tomorrow’s Builders” Welcome Day organised last March in Milan.

The cycle of lessons was launched in the 2011-2012 academic year and the 2014-2015 agenda was inaugurated on 27th October by Antonio Belloni, Group Managing Director of LVMH and continued on 24th March with the lesson by Giovanni Gorno Tempini, CEO of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.
