October 11, 2016 - A new way of looking at infrastructure : the great affluence of people who have so far visited the exhibition “ Beyond – Delivering the Future for the Past 110 years” represents an important result. The exhibition at the Triennale di Milano will remain open until November 6.
Italian Engineering Excellence as a Work of Art is the protagonist of the exhibition, emblem of the most refined creative and design skills at an international level: for the first time, the gigantic works built in more than a century of history by Salini Impregilo (bridges, dams, buildings, metros, railways and roads) are exponents of an exhibition that has attracted the attention of national and international press.
Since its opening, the exhibition dedicated to the company's 110th anniversary has attracted a constantly growing number of visitors, with peaks of more than a thousand per day.
Immersion and interactivity: these are the making of the exhibition. Large scale infrastructure, revealed to the public for the first time as "Gentle Giants", that underpin our daily lives and enable growth and development.
Cultural mediators are present at the entrance to accompany the different types of visitors. They illustrate images, videos and models, but also additional content that can be discovered thanks to the augmented reality application that can be installed on smartphones allowing you to visit the worksite using geolocation, receive additional information, and access technical data.
A wide variety of engineers and architects, students and professionals have visited the exhibition as well as families and children who have had great fun playing and interacting with the various experience-oriented zones enhanced by multimedia where knowledge and discovery become a game.
