Photostory: Images that Tell Stories of Infrastructure, People and Development

NEWS

Milan, July 3, 2017 -  Photostory: A New dynamic section from today to  enrich our Group's Website.

Photostory is a photographic project created to tell the stories of large infrastructure and the contexts in which they were created. A new story will be told every two weeks: a new trip with reportages from the USA from Panama or Greece. A look at the past in black and white and towards the future through the faces of the people building our works in the world.

The images from Salini Impregilo's archives trace a path of more than a century of development. They show how the company and the industry have changed. They bring back memories and show the commitment and passion of entire generations of builders.

Photostory's launch will provide a new storytelling opportunity. It will involve hundreds of photo-shootings (many never seen before), on our Group's website and on the social media.

The first appointment will pay homage to Zimbabwe. The Group has built extremely important works for this country: from the Kariba Dam built in the 50s, to the Tokwe Mukosi Dam, inaugurated this year in May.
