Milan, August 12, 2019 – following the press release disseminated on August 2, 2019 with respect to the launch of the so called “Progetto Italia” (“Progetto Italia” or “Project Italy”), by way of which Salini Impregilo S.p.A. (“Salini Impregilo” or the “Company”) announced, inter alia, the execution of (i) an investment agreement with CDP Equity S.p.A.; (ii) an investment agreement with three leading Italian financial institutions; and (iii) a stand-by pre-underwriting agreement pursuant to which certain financial institutions, as joint global coordinators, undertook – subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions – to enter into an underwriting agreement for the newly issued shares that remain unsubscribed at the end of the Institutional Offer in the context of the capital increase, for an aggregate amount of up to €150 million, Salini Impregilo announces that Citigroup Global Markets Limited and Merrill Lynch International are the financial institutions appointed as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners in the context of the Institutional Offer (the “Joint Global Coordinators”).
