May 23, 2019 - Salini Impregilo resumed its journey through the world of innovation and technology with Innovation Day on May 22 in Milan, the latest in a series of events organised by the Group for its preferred suppliers. The guest on this occasion was AECOM, with its presentations on Fatigue Risk Management, Safety Monitoring and Advanced Digitalization in the infrastructure industry.

AECOM has a global network of experts who develop and implement innovative solutions for complex challenges such as the supply of clean water and energy; the construction of iconic skyscrapers; the planning of new cities; the recovery of contaminated land; and the connection of people and economies by means of roads, bridges, tunnels and transport networks.

After GE, Mapei, PERI, Caterpillar and IBM, AECOM at Innovation Day was an important occasion to help deepen industry knowledge among Salini Impregilo’s strategic partners, who play a key role in the Group’s growth through “Progetto Italia”, an industrial operation to consolidate the infrastructure sector in Italy and make the most of the excellences found in the country.
