May 28, 2015 - @work among the best Intranet sites in the world: Salini Impregilo received an honorary mention at Ragan's Employee Communications Award 2014 ceremony in the Best Design section of the Intranet category. It also won third place in the Intra.NET Award 2015 event in the category for User Experience Design & Content Management.

The Ragan's Employee Communications Awards are organized by Chicago's Lawrence Ragan Communications Inc., a leader in corporate communications for more than 30 years. The awards are considered to be among the most prestigious in the public relations and communications industries, especially in North America. The latest award ceremony had 250 companies from all over the world taking part.

The Intra.NET Award is hosted by we.CONECT – a Berlin company specialized in business communication. The annual event attracts more than 300 managers in charge of communications at international companies who are committed to improving communications by integrating digital and social media in the workplace.

What convinced the judges at the two award ceremonies about @work were its distinctive characteristics: the global scope of the Intranet, its look and feel, as well as its multimedia functionality. Much like a web portal, @work enables users to navigate in an intuitive and response way, and find information needed to meet the demands of their work and of the Group’s business. In addition to that, it was considered as an innovation the shared development process among Salini Impregilo’s people who would become the platform’s future users.
