May 30, 2016 - "We will provide analysts with a better explanation of our plan. 2016 will only suffer a slowdown due to Italy's situation". CEO Pietro Salini said to Italian newspaper Repubblica’s “Affari&Finanza”.

He highlighted how Salini Impregilo "treats the market with respect and listens attentively to its many signals. We are responsible for guiding a multinational group with a turnover exceeding €6 billion, which  works in 5 continents, and that this year will complete strategic projects like the new Panama Canal or like Gibe III in Ethiopia" adopting a long-term vision.

"The market - Mr Salini pointed out - stopped at the 2016 forecasts, which were not as optimistic as expected. This is due to a delay in the start of some works, especially in Italy, of which we provided extremely transparent information". The Group’s activities will be boosted, said the CEO, by the “US market".
