I-10 Corridor Express Lanes, California, USA

The I-10 Corridor Contract 1 Express Lanes Contract 1, in California, involves designe and construction of 11 miles (approximately 18 km) of two express lanes in each direction of I-10 from the Los Angeles/San Bernardino County line to east of the I-10/I-15 interchange.

The Contract 1 also includes the widening of the existing highway, partial pavement rehab, bridge and drainage works, utilities.

The I-10 Corridor is a critical link within the Inland Empire, serving on average 265,000 daily local, commuter and interstate travellers. It also serves as a major trucking route between Southern California and the rest of the United States

Once completed, the project is expected to reduce traffic congestion, travel times (by 50% during peak hours), increase throughput, enhance trip reliability and provide long-term congestion management of the corridor in the Inland Empire.

Contractor: Lane Construction Corporation (Webuild Group) joint-venture contract with Security Paving Company, Inc.
