Versova – Bandra Sea Link

The Versova-Branda Sea Link (a 4+4 lanes motorway also called VBSL) is an ambitious project that will allow the Group to mediate the experience acquired with the building of the Western HS Diameter in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The EPC contract covers the work to improve the viability in Mumbai. The new infrastructure will require the construction of complex works at sea and stretch for a length of approx. 17.7 kms, linking the neighborhoods of Bandra, Otter, Juhu and Versova.

It will be situated about 900-1,800 m from the coast of the city of Mumbai. In addition, the Main Bridge will also include the construction of a cable-stayed bridge of 300 m (main span: 150 m) and 3 bridges of variable section, with a main span of 100 m, to allow navigation in the area. Maintenance activities for 2 years are also planned.
