The focal point of the urban development programme for the future ‘Beverly Hills’ of Riyadh

Diriyah Square is one of the most iconic and ambitious urban development projects currently under construction in Saudi Arabia. The project centers on the Al-Diriyah area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site northwest of Riyadh, which is set to become a vibrant cultural and commercial hub. Its architecture is inspired by the traditional Najdi style, evoking the characteristic atmosphere of Saudi villages through pedestrian streets, squares, courtyards, souks, bazaars, and the use of local forms and materials. The Webuild Group is playing a key role in the project with a series of works commissioned by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority.
The Package 2 – Super-Basement Works, awarded to the Group in , project consists in the construction of a multistorey mega car park for 10,500 vehicles. This complex and sophisticated infrastructure spans three underground levels, covering a built-up area of approximately 1 million square meters, along with related works.
The Package 3 – Finishing and MEP, awarded to Webuild in , involves the construction of over 70 retail and lifestyle buildings and public spaces, covering around 365,000 square meters.
Additional structural works currently underway are also part of Packages 3, 6, and 7.
