Riyadh Diriyah Square - Package 2 Super-Basement Works
The focal point of the urban development programme for the future ‘Beverly Hills’ of Riyadh

The Diriyah Square – Package 2 Super-Basement Works project consists in the construction of a multistorey mega car park for 10,500 vehicles spread over 3 levels, including a network of roads and over 2 km of tunnels. Total built up area is almost 1 million square metres. The project is part of a plan to develop the Ad-Diriyah historic district in Riyadh and a UNESCO heritage site. It aims to combine socio-economic development opportunities while respecting the district’s cultural identity.
The Webuildcontract is the core of the entire Diriyah Gate urban development programme. It will lead to the e establishment of a neighbourhood along the Western Ring Road, in north-western Riyadh, which will cover an area of 7 square kilometres.
The architecture and design of the district will take inspiration from the traditional Najdi style. It will include pedestrian streets, public squares, courtyards, souks and bazaars to recreate the authenticity of a Saudi village.
