Awards assigned to the Group

Webuild is assessed by many organizations for specific topics.  The works we build are tangible proof of our commitment for sustainable development. 

The Group is an undisputed leader in the Italian construction sector  and its steadily improving ESG ratings rank it among the major international sector players. In 2025 received independent recognition with its inclusion in the ranking:     

  1. 2025 Sustainability Statement Award”, first in the “Listed companies” category, thanks to its statement’s quality and clear presentation. The award, now in its seventh edition and promoted by the Department of Economics and Business Sciences of the University of Pavia with LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) Italy 
  2. Gold Stevie® Award at the International Business Awards® 2025 for the Health, Safety & Environment Program of the Year for Asia, Australia and New Zealand
  3. Europe's Climate Leaders 2025 - 2nd place among only 7 Italian companies in the Construction & Building Materials category, compiled by Statista and the Financial Times;
  4. Sustainability Leader 2025, by Statista and Il Sole 24 Ore;
  5. Leader in Diversity and Inclusion 2025, by Statista and Il Sole 24 Ore;
  6. Europe's Best Employers 2025, curated by Statista and the Financial Times.

These results highlight the concrete and well-structured commitment of the Group in various strategic areas: environment, governance, inclusion and people assessment.

This commitment has also been recognized by important and prestigious international awards.

CDP 2025

In 2025, Webuild was included in CDP’s Climate Change A List, achieving an “A” rating - the highest score awarded by CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) - and ranking among the top 4% of more than 24,800 companies assessed globally. This achievement confirms the Group’s excellence in managing environmental issues and strengthens its reputation among investors and stakeholders.

Inclusion in the A List reflects a robust climate strategy that is fully integrated into the Group’s growth plans, with a focus on reducing environmental impacts and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Webuild was also included in the 2025 Supplier Engagement Assessment A List, receiving the highest possible score for the second consecutive year in CDP’s evaluation framework dedicated to climate change management across the value chain. Within the same assessment program, the Group achieved a “B” rating in the Water Security category, which it completed for the first time in 2024.

Webuild has been included in the CDP ranking since 2014, providing disclosures through the global platform that measures and benchmarks the environmental performance of companies worldwide. The Climate Change program is based on a questionnaire requested annually by more than 740 investors representing US$136 trillion in assets

In 2025, Webuild was once again included in CDP’s (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) A List, achieving the highest possible score in CDP’s evaluation framework for corporate climate change performance across the value chain.

In particular, the SEA assesses the effectiveness of supplier engagement activities related to climate change, taking into account factors such as governance, corporate strategy, decarbonization targets and Scope 3 emissions reporting.

This achievement complements the “A” rating awarded to Webuild under CDP’s Climate Change Program for the third consecutive year, further confirming the strength and consistency of the Group’s climate strategy.
