During about 120 years of business, we have contributed to writing some of the most important pages in the history of infrastructure.
Our projects have played a key role in the development of the countries involved: dams in Africa, unique hydraulic works, such as the expansion of the Panama Canal, the railways and metro systems aimed at reducing traffic congestion and pollution in some of the most populated cities in the world, motorway projects which shorten distances and facilitate the economic and social integration of territories and communities, the restoration of works which tell the history of man, such as the rescue of the Abu Simbel temples in Egypt.
Infrastructure, in addition to being a very important driver for growth for countries' gross domestic product, with a more than proportional return for the economy, is an increasingly strategic lever for providing solutions to major global challenges, such as climate change, population growth, increasing water scarcity, and the expansion of artificial intelligence.
