The Strait of Messina Bridge, with a span measuring 3,300 metres, approximately, will be the world’s longest suspended bridge. This video, made by Geopop, shows in a 3D reconstruction the original projects, so that you can understand what it is.
In July 29, 2011, the “Società concessionaria Stretto di Messina” approved the final project: with 3D images never seen before the infrastructure is now shown from a structural point of view, with a story that tells you about the construction phases from when the executive project was approved, and which are still ongoing today
