Webuild NextGen 100 Young Engineers from the Universities of Southern Italy

Challenge 4 Sud Webuild

From the Universities of the South of Italy, to the Webuild Group in Italy, and globally. We train the new generation of engineers

Webuild launches the selection programme of 100 young engineers, undergraduates and/or new graduates in the Universities of Southern Italy.

The objective of the programme is to encourage the employment of young talents from the regions of Southern Italy, offering them the opportunity to work in Webuild, abroad, but also and above all, in Italy and in the South, to contribute to the development of these regions.

The programme also intends to promote the universities of Southern Italy, enhancing their educational excellence, and supporting them in their students' job placement. The programme, therefore, intends to offer young people, from the regions of Southern Italy, the opportunity to remain in their regions of origin, and to train, thanks to an excellent academic offer, which will allow them to grow in a highly professionalizing context.

This team might be right for you if:

It is easy for you to support your arguments in a debate, and you feel inclined to negotiate. You are precise, analytical and attentive to detail. You have a mathematical mind, but behind each of your statements there is an argument based on objective and almost always numerical data.

The Plant & Equipment team is responsible for managing the machine park and project systems, ensuring that the site is equipped with all the necessary means to carry out works and their correct functioning, also ensuring their maintenance.

This team might be right for you if:

This team might be right for you if:

  • You are a civil engineer and maybe also a specialist in Structures/ Geotechnics. You are concrete and imagine yourself in a dynamic and practical work environment, always on the move and away from the desk. You want a life experience on site and you would be ready to go anywhere in the world, pursuing the most important infrastructural projects.

The QHSE team is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations and standards on the project.

You are precise, scrupulous and gifted with determination and tenacity. You don't stop at a no, and fight for what you believe in until you reach your goal.

The Contract Management team is responsible for managing contracts and dealing with any disputes and issues, reservations and delays in civil and infrastructural works, in compliance with Italian and international regulations. A team of professionals who combine great technical-engineering skills and a deep knowledge of the legal aspects involved in the project, to be able to solve complex technical and contractual issues.

This team might be right for you if:

  • You are a civil and/or construction engineer and would like to work in the infrastructure sector, looking at the project not only from a technical-engineering point of view, but also from a contractual and economic one. You are scrupulous, and like to study and get in-depth of things, addressing a question from multiple perspectives; you feel comfortable in interpersonal relationships, and have good communication skills.
